How to Oxygenate Your Body

One simple way to keep the body cleansed and healthy is to oxygenate your body every day. There is a breathing practice in which you fill your lungs with nourishing oxygen. Oxygenating our body is one of numerous natural ways you stimulate your body’s innate detoxification function?

Oxygen is plentiful and free. Regrettably the oxygen we breathe is dirty in certain areas, so be aware of this fact. You absolutely don’t want to practice deep breathing technique standing on the corner of a bustling street waiting for your bus. It will be best to do your oxygenation practice at home, indoors or outdoors if it’s in a non-polluted environment.

Standing in a long, slow, soothing breath, filling the lungs and belly until you think it might burst. Keep in the air for as long as you’re able (don’t force it), and then gently expel the breath through the mouth. Take in 5 to 10 inhalations and exhalations just like this.

Over time, you can alter this breathing technique by elevating the arms over your head during the inhale, and then lightly lowering your arms when you exhale.

Oxygenating the body moves oxygen into the blood stream, which then sends it to your cells and tissues to nutrify and detoxify them of toxic waste. Extra oxygen in the body promotes blood flow as well as the circulation of the lymph fluid through your lymphatic system. Both the blood and lymph are central to our body’s detoxification abilities.
