Where to Learn More about Disney’s John Carter Movie

Fans of Edgar Rice Burroughs are excited. After many years of waiting they will finally get to see a movie based on ERB’s book, A Princess of Mars. Directed by Pixar’s Andrew Stanton, the “John Carter of Mars” movie is expected t be a big budget live-action motion picture scheduled for general release in 2012, the 100th year after the initial publication of the story that became A Princess of Mars. Although Edger Rice Burroughs’ Martian science left something to be desired his story was compelling and captivating, and the John Carter family of characters appeared in many other books.

It is not easy to find out information about the John Carter movie, of course. Most sources of information have just a few pieces of data. You have to piece the big picture together for yourself.
